Legacy Consulting Group is an ACDBE-certified duty-free operator with two distinct retail brands across U.S. airports. Our flagship store, Core Plus Duty Free, is located inside MLB Airport in Florida. Our second location, Coachella Duty Free, launched in 2026 at PSP Airport.
Owned and operated by Brittany Williams Leverett, and inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit of her late aunt and industry mentor Claudia Williams-Hope, our journey began with a single vision: to revolutionize duty-free retail and travel concessions.

and airport concessions, she has successfully built a thriving business that blends innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Brittany is also passionate about mentoring women entrepreneurs and helping them scale their businesses with strategic planning and automation.

2018
A Dream Takes Shape
What began as a shared vision between Brittany Williams Leverett and her aunt, Claudia Williams-Hope, quickly became a leap of faith. With no investors or traditional financing, the pair secured the opportunity to bring duty-free retail to Melbourne Orlando International Airport—laying the foundation for what would become Legacy Consulting Group.
2022
Growing Beyond a Kiosk
After nearly 2 years of shutdown, Core Plus Duty Free returned to business at MLB Airport stronger than ever. The reopening marked the beginning of rapid growth, culminating in the completion of the company's first permanent brick-and-mortar store and more than $662,000 in annual sales.
2025
Building Momentum
Core Plus Duty Free achieved 3 consecutive years of seven-figure annual sales, reflecting the strength of an independently owned, ACDBE-certified business built through perseverance, expertise, and exceptional customer service. Along the way, the company earned recognition in leading industry publications and 70+ five-star Google reviews, reinforcing its reputation for delivering exceptional traveler experiences.
2019
Core Plus Duty Free Opens
Core Plus Duty Free welcomed its first travelers from a small airport kiosk at Melbourne Orlando International Airport. With just a handful of international flights each week, Brittany traveled from North Carolina to Florida—often for a single flight—to personally operate the store alongside Claudia, gaining firsthand expertise in every aspect of duty-free operations.
2023
A Million-Dollar Milestone
The first full operating season in the newstore surpassed $1.1 million in annual sales, transforming Legacy Consulting Group from a startup venture into a proven airport retail operator. This milestone also marked Brittany's first year leading the business full-time.
2026
Coachella Duty Free Opens
A long-awaited expansion brought Palm Springs International Airport's first-ever duty-free retail experience to international travelers. After years of planning and overcoming pandemic-related delays, Coachella Duty Free officially opened in March 2026, marking Legacy Consulting Group's second duty-free location and another milestone in the company's continued growth. They are gathering passenger feedback to help shape a product selection that reflects the unique needs and preferences of PSP Airport's international travelers.
2020
Honoring a Legacy
As the COVID-19 pandemic halted international travel, operations came to an unexpected stop. Following the devastating loss of her aunt and business partner Claudia, Brittany founded Legacy Consulting Group LLC, determined to preserve their shared vision and continue building the business despite unprecedented uncertainty.
2024
Resilience in Motion
Despite declining international passenger traffic, Core Plus Duty Free achieved a second consecutive year of $1 Million+ in sales. The year also brought a major opportunity when Legacy Consulting Group was selected by WHSmith as the ACDBE partner for Palm Springs International Airport's future Coachella Duty Free location.

With a proven track record of operating successful duty-free stores, Legacy Consulting Group is focused on bringing tailored duty-free programs to more small and medium-sized airports across the U.S.—creating exceptional retail experiences for travelers while helping airports unlock new revenue opportunities.
